Instagram is a very popular app downloaded by over 100 million users. It is used for sharing photos and videos to your friend's, family or others. It is very similar to Facebook and Twitter.
Where did it come from and how created it?
Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger created Instagram. It was launched on 6th october 2010. Kevin was working in marketing and started doing engineering at night to help him learn how to code. He created a prototype app of an idea he originally called Burbn, which allowed people to check-in where they are on their mobile web app. Kevin decided to quit his job and two weeks later he had earned $500,000. Instagram took only 6 Weeks to make!
Who uses it?
In June 2017 Instagram reached 1 billion monthly active users! The app is one of the most popular apps world wide to spread photos and videos. Men and women use this app. The official age to use it is 13 +, but people who are younger than that also sign up.
How do you use it?
1.Download the app and enter all the information that is asked.
2. Once you have filled that out you will have an instagram account you can delete any time you want.
3. At first you might not be able to choose your account name, But you can change your name whenever you want.
4. Search up your friends accounts, And if you want , follow them. They might have a private account, So press the follow button and if they want you to follow them they will accept.
On your account you can turn private. Private is when someone searches you up or finds your account and you don't know them, They can't see you pictures/Videos that you have posted, They also can not see your story.
You can also report pictures or accounts, If you find them inappetite, Or they are cyber bullying or pretending to be someone else.
Conclusion
